The Marriott Rewards® Credit Card issued by Chase instantly rewards members with 30,000 points after their first use of the card. Cardholders not only have their annual fee waived for the first year, but- they can also earn up to 6 free nights at Marriott locations even before their vacation begins!
Marriott has more than 3,400 brand locations and resorts in 68 countries with each giving cardholders the opportunity to earn 3 points for every $1 spent. If you're an avid traveler and enjoy staying at Marriott hotels, then this is a benefit in itself.
When not at a Marriott location members of the Marriott Rewards® Credit Card earn 1 point for every $1 spent at locations everywhere. However, this does not include balance transfers, cash advances or cash-like charges such as travelers checks and money orders.
As an added bonus, you'll receive a 2 free night stay e-certificate just for opening your account. This reward is valid at category 1-4 hotels across the globe. So if you combine the 30,000 points with the 2-free nights offer, this is equivalent to 6 free nights at a Category 1 rated Marriott!
The sky is the limit to the amount of points you can earn, so know that the more you spend plus the more points you accumulate equals more savings down the road.
Cardholders earn 1 night credit toward Elite status each time you spend $3,000 in net purchases. Additionally, there is no limit to the amount of night credits you can earn toward Elite Status. The top tier membership program has 3 levels: Gold, Silver and Platinum.
