The Discover® Open Road Card for Students, puts you in the driver's seat with an excellent Cashback rewards program. To begin- Discover offers students double (2x) Cashback bonus rewards just for making purchases at gas stations and restaurants. However, the rewards continue to pick up speed with the more shopping you do.
For instance, with this 0% introductory APR card members who spend up to $3,000 on general purchases will earn a .25% Cashback bonus. And once you spend more than $3,000- cardmembers will earn up to 1% Cashback bonus.
With this card, members also earn from 5% to 20% Cashback bonus at more than 175 retailers by making purchases through the exclusive ShopDiscover.com website.
Another bit of good news for those scholastically minded and inclined to save - the rewards have no expiration date and there is no annual limit, but should your account be closed for any reason or inactive for 18 consecutive months you may lose your rewards.
