The Discover® Business Card is a card that is designed for those looking for a business card with a little something extra. In this case, that little something extra includes a $100 Cashback Bonus.**
This business card has a rewards program where account holders can earn a full 5% on the first $2,000 in office supply purchases, a full 2% on the first $2,000 in gas purchases, up to 1% for other purchases, and .25% for purchases made at select warehouse clubs and discount stores.
Account holders who spend up to $5,000 on other purchases, will receive a .25% rebate. Those who spend over $5,000 will receive a 1% rebate.* Both office supply and gas purchases in excess of $2,000 earn a rebate at the same rate as other purchases.
As an added bonus, account holders can earn up to a double Cashback Bonus when their rebates are redeemed as gift certificates from participating Discover® Card Partners. There is no yearly limit on the amount of rebates that can be earned and rebates do not expire as long as the account is active within a 36-month period.
The Discover® Business Card has no annual fee and has an attractive 0% introductory rate on purchases for the first twelve months and a 3.9% introductory rate on balance transfers for the first six months. The APR for this card is reasonable for those who qualify.
In addition to the reward program, this card also provides several platinum benefits including fraud and security protection services as well as access to PurchaseChecks. Account holders can also receive discounts on products and services at participating merchants and retailers.
For account holders who plan on spending more than $5,000 a year and who plan on taking advantage of the Cashback Bonus program, the Discover® Business Card will be a great fit.
*It is important to note that like many cash reward cards, the highest rebate offered will not apply to all purchases made with the credit card. In this case, 1% will only be applied only to those purchases made after the cardholder spends over $5,000 in one year, so the overall cash rebate earned will be less than 1%, depending on the amount spent. For instance, if the cardholder were to spend $6,000, only $1,000 of this amount would be applied towards the 1% rebate. However, this does not take into account any promotional offers or the full 5% Cashback Bonus award.
