How does a bad credit auto loan really work?

My credit score is probably 0 (yes I know that's not possible) but it's pretty bad. Say for example I want a $ 5,000-$ 6,000 car, how much would I have to put down and how much would the interest typically be?

A loan from the car dealership will require 60 monthly payments of $ 630.32. What is the effective annnual interest rate for this financing arrangement? Thanks for the answers, I know the rate but can someone explain how you get that rate from the information given in the question?

How exactly does a bank auto loan work?

I'm looking at a 97 Mitsubishi Eclispse GT with 82000 miles on it between two owners, a mother and daughter. The asking price is 5000. I've already seen the car and had a buddy test drive it. The only glaring problem is that the A/C doesn't work. Other than that, it seems like a good buy.

Was denied for an auto loan from my bank, what now?

Only have two years of credit history, little debt (one of my credit cards are 0% apr so I keep a small balance), FICO over 700, four lines, and have zero expenses (college student living with family). My income is over 15k a year, and will soon increase to around $ 20k a year. Maybe I asked for too much? What size auto loan can I get approved for?

Where to get an Auto Loan with No Credit on a ,000 Car?

I want to buy a used car, but I have no credit. I turned 18 last October and I will have a job making $ 600-$ 800 a month. Where can I go to get an auto loan? I can do a down payment of $ 3500, so then my monthly payments would only be around $ 120 - $ 150.

Will a car loan decrease my credit score the way high credit card balances do?

Because I know auto insurance is based on your credit score, so if my quote is 176 a month will that go way up after i get the loan for the car? What i mean is will the loan decrease my credit score the way high balances on your revolvoing credit do thus increasing my car insurance. im sure this is a dumb question but ive never done this before. Thanks

How many payments on an auto loan do I need to make?

Before it will improve my credit score. I am trying to get a house and looking for ways to boost up my score. When I got the car the man said 10 on-time payments would boost my score up 70 points. But then after some digging on line I heard it can only take 6 months. So do you know? Haha. I live in Indiana if that helps any. Thank you!

I have a credit score of 680, a monthly income of 2700, and I applied for a 72 month auto loan for a $ 21,000 car. Do you think I will be approved?
